刘世清，男，1945年12月生，籍贯仙桃市人，教授、主任医师、博士生导师。1970年7月毕业于湖北医学院（现武汉大学医学部）。擅长颈腰椎手术和关节外科手术，发表论文234多篇，其中SCI论文14篇，中华系列30余篇，参编专著6部，其中《临床治疗学实践》任副主编、骨科卷主编，《骨科住院医师手册》主编，《外科学》全国高等学校医学规划教材（成人）骨科专业主编。“丹参对肢体缺血再灌注脂质过氧化反应影响的临床观察（中华骨科杂志）”等4篇论文获湖北省自然科学优秀论文三等奖，主持省科技攻关课题获湖北省自然科学奖三等奖一项。已培养博士生24名、硕士生44名，目前正在培养的博士生11名、硕士生6名。
